About

Background 

Like many people, I grew up, went to college, got a job, got married, had children and fell into the usual humdrum pattern of life. I had my ups. I had my downs. I worked hard. Really hard. In 2009, I found myself exhausted. My stress level was extremely high and my health was failing. So in 2010, I did the unthinkable. After a lot of prayer and with the support of my amazing husband and kids, I walked away from a successful career as a public works director in order to blaze my own trail. (See my resume.)

Along the way, I have acquired many new skills. I became certified as an integrative nutrition coach and resumed my studies with Dr. Bruce Berkowsky and my work on E-ScentiallyYours. I became a partner at Gushin Designs, my husband’s freelance web design company as I helped empower clients to become proficient in sharing their message with user-friendly websites, blogging, newsletters and social media.

Throughout the years, I have served as an advisor and mentor to many. Whether you need an occasional mentor in your present career or you are ready to blaze a new trail, I am available to support you. If you are a city official or community leader and need an advisor with many years of municipal engineering experience, I am available to support you.

Qualifications:

I have been a devoted public servant for over twenty-five years with a focus on improving quality of life. I am here to serve. I have experience and skills and have a strong track record in visioning, planning, design and just getting the job done in an efficient, cost-effective, common sense, and joyful manner.
